Meet the captain
Captain Austin Ferguson
Captain Austin Ferguson has spent his entire life learning the saltwater fishery in
the East Central Florida Region including everything from targeting snook and redfish in the
backwaters to trolling for Dolphin and Sailfish along the warm currents of the Gulfstream. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida before diving headfirst into
his Fishing Charter Business, Ferg’s Guide Service. Captain Austin offers a variety of trip options
depending on the season, but he specializes in fishing the inshore waters around Ponce Inlet
for Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Pompano and Jack Crevalle. The main goal of his trips is to
provide a fun, safe and educational experience for his clients, but very often, there are some
extremely nice fish caught along the way!
The Vessel
Hop aboard our 2014 22' Pathfinder Bay Boat. It is equipped with all of the gear and electronics we will need to find the fish and have a safe, fun day on the water. It is powered by a reliable Yamaha f150 4-stroke motor. It will comfortable fish up to 4 anglers.
